I was pleasantly surprised last night - the Barracuda presentation was
technically interesting and the talk went quite late - well past our
normal stopping point.

I took a chance and asked whether they might consider sponsoring SVLUG
by contributing the appropriate Barracuda product or products for our
use.  The idea would be to integrate a Barracuda solution into the
SVLUG website stack.

They seemed open to the idea - I've tossed the ball back into their
court in terms of how their products might help us - especially when
we roll out our upcoming wiki-based website.

For example, one of their products may be able to help ensure no-one
uploads malware onto our new wiki.  That'd be pretty cool, if it can
be plugged in, set up, and generally ignored after that.

This is all still in the VERY EARLY stage - only a verbal commitment
on their part, and only a commitment to explore on our part... but I
figured it was a good idea to let you all know what might be coming
within the next month or so.
