[volunteers] (forw) [Mailman-owner] Auto-discard notification

After yesterday's Loomis List spam, another arrived today at 5:07 AM; my
blackholing of his mail in Mailman wasn't effective:  Apparently, the
roster I added his posting address to applies only for NON-subscribed
people.  (I've never had to blacklist a subscriber before.)

So, I finally (this morning) deleted his svlug at lists.svlug.org
subscription and banned any attempt to resubscribe. 

A third spam attempt has arrived, at 1:29 PM (below).  SVLUG's Mailman
auto-discarded it, per my intention.

Now, spammers are a dime a dozen:  What's notable is this guy's the
first I've seen first go through a list subscription process, including
three-way subscribe confirmation.  Professional spammers never do that;
it leaves too clear a trail.  From that and some checking, I conclude
this guy's (1) very new and (2) not very bright.

EV1servers.net / The Planet, unfortunately, seems to be one of the
current spam-housing hosting facilities.  I'm seeing quite a few recent
items like this (Feb. 7, 2007) on the Web and Usenet:
