before I found out that you had, it seems, been proximately responsible
for the latter two.)

Hello, Mr. James Metzger of 1259 Hornblend St. #8, San Diego CA, 92109 Tel.
(408) 202-8071. (This message is being CCed to the Silicon Valley Linux
User Group's public discussion mailing list for its core volunteers.)
I'm, again, writing to you in my capacity as SVLUG's list administrator.

Your posting address, frshtrx at hotmail.com, first went through formal
subscription with three-way confirmation to our main technical mailing
list, svlug at lists.svlug.org -- and then sent _three_ off-topic postings
to our hundreds of subscribers, involving what is said to be your
"Loomis List" and claiming that we can "unsubscribe" from the latter.

All three posts are regarded, in context, as abusive and unacceptable
behaviour on SVLUG's technical mailing lists. Is there anything you
would care to explain?

Quoting The Loomis List (frshtrx at hotmail.com):

<hat="listadmin">
You subscribed and posted to "Main discussion list for the Silicon
Valley Linux Users Group." Guess what? Your advertisement flagrantly
has nothing to do with Linux or with SVLUG or even with Silicon Valley.
It wasn't amusing, it wasn't a brief off-topic digression, it wasn't a
reasonable use of this mailing list.

Your ability to post is therefore revoked. If you want it back, you'll
have to write to volunteers at lists.svlug.org -- and have a damned good
explanation.
</hat>
