picnic "coordination" is supposed to be done by a rotating group,
so duncan representing entity?? is a good thing
it was first done by svlug folks, davis lug 2x, baylisa, baylisa
and now duncan

that's probably a good thing

that pribably is NOT a good thing ... nothing wrong with ian dong
what he's been successfully for 15 some odd years ..
<emi-stink>
as far as "stink is concerned" .. one should look at oneself first
as everybody likes to joke around ..
-------
it is NOT a good idea that "svlug.org" still has not changed
hands back to svlug volunteers and officers
-
- sbay lost its vote to retain title/control to svlug.org
- by popular vote of the (svlug) people
-
-------
the "linux picnic" itself is NOT for sbay to decide anything on its
own, at its own meetings, of what to impose to the svlug volunteers
or to other entities ( lugs )
if anything .. the many sponsors should be able to dictate how their $$$
is spent for the picnic ... without whom the picnic might not occur
"linux picnic" is for everybody .. not one entity to dictate
more importantly.. why is all the previous work on the picnics
not available for the "new crew" to look over in preparation
and tweeking for the coming picnic .. oh well... people like to
erase data i guess ... not that its hard to recreate
</semi-stink>
if svlug losts it data or previous work done, you probably wouldn't
hear the end of it .. considering svlug is supposed to be respresentative
all good and/or bad things open source .. ( no secrets and every can
learn from the past posts and experiences )

nothing special about doing "paperwork" ... practically everybody that
runs a formal legal entity does that monthly or quarterly ...
- take a minute to do it ... or a month ...to do the same task

speaking of which ... its time for duncan to start rattleing the cage
of the picnic list and get thngs slow and heavy steam roller rolling ...
i donno if duncan is in this volunteers list ..
