Jim Fruchterman of Benetech would make a fine SVLUG speaker. While
he doesn't work specifically with Linux, his work does involve open
source, and he would be inspiring to our group in the same way that
RMS or Kirk McKusick (both previous speakers) have been.
Something about Benetech: http://www.benetech.org/about/
About Fruchterman: http://www.benetech.org/about/management_team.shtml
Why our group would like Fruchterman: Fruchterman is an innovator in
funding and management volunteer-driven projects. His work on worthy
causes makes a small profit, so he has succeeded in the business space
that a lot of open source projects struggle in. Furthermore,
Fruchterman is a marvelous, passionate speaker.
