active. And yeah, I know, android and android apps like to phone home. I
never checked but I doubt with a proper choice of apps they can actually
cause any traffic of real concern on a 1Gbits pipe.

Reviewers don't seem very technically savvy. OpenWRT should make it a
much better router including stability.
There was a tp-link with similar specs but with just usb 2.
Hopefully there will be some new entry in the OpenWRT supported hardware
list in a couple of months.
