I'm interested in a tool that can be used to help someone
develop good Internet habits. There is a lot of content
on the Net that is not healthy for human consumption.
Senseless violence, drug propaganda, and pornography
are three examples of things that are not fit for human
consumption, but which are highly addictive.
Most of what goes over the Internet is pornography. At
least 40 million American men and 15 million American women
are searching for and looking at pornography at least once
a month. That is out of 300 million, so it is pretty
significant. I've heard that 90% of Youtube videos are
pornographic, violent, or otherwise problematic. I don't
believe 90%, but I wouldn't be surprised if an accurate
figure was around 30%. The figures I'm quoting are from
as far back as 2010 and are probably low.
This tool should work on: Windows, Mac OSX, Android, and IOS.
The tool should also be available on Linux.
Some folks ask, can WINE be used to make Convenant Eyes work
under Linux. I wonder if the Android version of Convenant
Eyes can be made to work on Linux via an Android emulator?
The Linux community should be concerned about Linux adoption
being sluggish if Linux does not support high demand software.
