This is probably going to be closer to a discussion than a super in-depth tutorial given how much prep time Luke has had.

Luke didn't have time to look into what to install on ubuntu, and you don't say what you're running on the raspberry pi.

>From my research it looks like you want slapd and ldap-utils installed on the ubuntu server. For the client, look for a package that provides pam_ldap.so.
