[svlug] Arch or OpenBSD?

I'm leaning towards OpenBSD as first choice and Antergos as second choice.
There are enough OpenBSD projects to keep me interested for a while like
OpenSMTPD and pf.
On the other hand, I'm impressed with the efficiency of Arch on my Beagle
Bone Black running dokuwiki for the past couple of years. And the rich set
of tools available like zenity. I've come to like the one command update
along with tons of documentation.
What appeals about both distros is their simplicity. The choice is going to
come down to whichever detects all or most of the hardware and lives well
with Win 7.
I've used Porteus as student machines at my kids school. It's based off
slackware and runs really well. Boots fast, supports network printing and
smb. But the package manager is a bit erratic. I like it because it can
load to memory bypassing the need for a drive. Perfect for dying school
computers.
And I have a soft spot for slitaz which I've used extensively on my Kenyan
hospital project. Talk about simple and fast! That community is not very
active otherwise I wouldn't be posting here. I've run a slitaz home wiki
server using a little over 4 Mb of disk space!
I'm just awed at the choice we have nowadays!
