[svlug] Commenting-out UUID parts of grub-mkconfig_lib file

Hi again All,

Am new to Mint 17 - MATE.  Slowly getting it to work just like my 
original system.  Only ONE obstacle left that I can see...

For years I've successfully used an Ubuntu 10.4 I've tweaked to address 
drives by device specs (/dev/sda#), instead of by UUID, particularly at 
boot time.

I am still fine with making all the necessary relevant edits to:
/etc/default/grub
/etc/fstab
/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
... and then running update-grub

But: I'm rusty, and really need some help on =exactly= what lines to 
comment out of (or edit in)  /usr/share/grub/grub-mkconfig_lib

Am more of a user, and not a techie/professional/programmer, so not 
grasping 100% of what most of the lines in that file do.
