Scott,
attached are some very very basic scripts you can
use to test your scripting permissions.
They all do one thing - output "Hello World".
>From the list below you can see, you can
test from awk to tcl.

FYI, you do this on a public server you might
want to consider '/usr/bin/env' instead of the direct link.
