I'm afraid you've missed what I'm saying Erik. I want to use my own
domain name for email. I want to stay with Eskimo North. I don't feel
comfortable running everything through google where google is becoming a
monopoly. Google data mines which makes me very uncomfortable. Eskimo
spools email for me, but there's no way to access those messages when
I'm down even if I have alternate ways of getting online. To make
matters worse, it's possible beyond email that my DSL hosted web site
is getting hit too hard causing denial of service. I'm not sure if this
is the case, I was down for a few days and had a backlog of email which
would also cause service issues. Guess I'll have to see what happens in
the near future.
As far as tricks, my meaning was not illegal but more in the technical
sense. High availability of service is an advanced topic after all.
