I think you might be able to use google drive:

Apparently dropbox is a better option though:

Either, way, do more research on those options and basically you get a
virtual drive on linux that syncs to the cloud and to which you should
hopefully be able to run rsync.
If the dates are wrong in the virtual drive, you can try --size-only for rsync
