[svlug] Playing .wmv video files

i recently ran into a format of wmv that VLC (or any other Linux player,
for that matter) could play. it is MSS2 (VLC will apologize for not being
able to play it). a search web brought up some interesting ideas (including
the all-Linux 'compile from source') but nothing helped. I eventually had
to fall back to Win VM to watch. :(
