[svlug] Embedded Systems Conference

If you enjoyed the presentation on Arduino, you will certainly enjoy the annual Embedded Systems Conference in late March in San Jose.

An "embedded system" is virtually aby computer that is part of something that would not normally be called a "computer".  Examples include the electronic controls for clothes washers as well as flying sharks.

Registration for the exhibit hall is free.  Many companies with development boards will be there. This year the ESC will be combined with several other "niche" activities including Android.

Past exhibits have included a "tear down" of a Toyoto Prius Hybrid.   I could not believe the amount of electronics in one car.
