[svlug] light weight linux distros and personalization

I've been using xubuntu (xfce) for about 2 months on my netbook and been very 
happy.  I "upgraded" from kubuntu, which was also fine, but xfce may be a 
slightly crisper. My 2-1/2 yo Samsung is fully supported (including wifi, yay!)
