Hey, all --

Let me put on my SCALE hat for a moment. I haven't seen anything on
the list, but if someone has mentioned this, forgive me for the
repeat.

The Southern California Linux Expo SCALE 10X will be held Jan. 20-22
at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport hotel. Next to OSCON, it's probably
the biggest Linux show in North America, and we're fortunate to be
within driving range of it (at least it's driving range for me). But
however you get there, it's a pretty good expo to go to to keep up
with what's going on in FOSS.

A few SVLUG listers -- Alison Chaiken, Akkana Peck, and me, to name a
few -- will be presenting at SCALE 10X (and if I missed anyone giving
a presentation, please pipe in and let us know).

The Hilton LAX will be having a special $109/night rate for SCALE as well.
