Not really.

There is are convenience, support and footprint factors.  I can barely
find a place for a printer.  How would I find a place for (essentially)
three printers worth of space?  One printer, one flatbed scanner and
one fax machine.[1]

On my floor at work, there are about 5 of these:

They start at $13k new. (So, not all about cheapness.)

In the consumer market (low end), corners get cut and you get the cheap quality.
It takes very careful screening to find a consumer model that doesn't Suck(tm).
Usually it is more, "Which sucks less?"
