Longtime SVLUG member Jim Dennis will give a talk, tonight, at BayLISA,
the local system administrator guild, which meets at LinkedIn in
Mountain View. For those who aren't familiar with the meeting venue,
it's close to the Bay, off Shoreline. Exit US-101 onto Shoreline
northbound (Bay-wards), and go about 1/2 mile, crossing Charleston Road,
to turn right (East) onto Stierlin Ct. Go all the way to the end, and
park in front of LinkedIn, 2051 Stierlin Ct.
Meeting announcement from BayLISA (http://www.baylisa.org/) follows:

Scripting with Jim Dennis
Jim Dennis, a past presenter at BayLISA, will be returning to speak on
scripting, with a special emphasis on "Those Tiny Fragments We All Use,"
and "Acing the Interview" as regards a sysadmin's required level of
scripting knowledge.
It is his hope that by this means, seasoned admins, as well as those
among us who may be less comfortable with a lot of scripting, and the
actively employed as well as those who may be
not-so-well-employed-as-they-like whether consulting or not, will all be
able to benefit.
The BayLISA meeting will be in the same location as last month. Follow
the signs to 2051 Stierlin Ct, Mountain View, CA.
