I love flashblock -- used it for years. Less so now that I've
started using noscript, since noscript also blocks (most?) flash
... but I wouldn't want to use the web without one or the other.

For clearing flash cookies, I put
rm -rf $HOME/.macromedia
in my login commands.
Sadly, I discovered that flashblock doesn't entirely stop flash from
running -- the flash library still loads (and can crash the browser)
even if flashblock is blocking flash on a page. But it probably
doesn't get far enough to set cookies.

I took a community college class a few years ago where the
class website used a separate flash entry for every button.
I had to click on 6 flashblock buttons to enable the flash and
find out which button was which before I could click on any buttons.
There are some amazing (cough) web designers out there.
