I was being facetious, and he probably knows it.  The point was to 
explain how I took his posting. Which I still don't see any other way to 
read it, other than attacking the volunteers that are putting on the event.

I gave an example on how it could be approached, that would not be in an
attacking tone. Though, he won't take the advice and he completely 
believes that he was not attacking anyone with the original post.

I have had a few "conversations" with him on this list about it.

I usually do not have an issue with what he has to say.  I haven't found 
him to have his facts incorrect. He is always fastidious in his facts. 
It is always the _way_ he says it that makes me break the "must not hit 
reply" rule.

Sometimes you would think that he is angry at the world.  But, that 
can't be true.  He does way too much for Linux and OSS causes on his own 
for it to be true.

I do believe that there is a miscommunication in the tone of voice in 
his original post, unless he really is angry at the volunteers.
