Got to throw in a contrary opinion here - it takes a long time for free material on the web to approach the level of quality and organization of professionally-edited and reviewed texts.  

To say otherwise is like advocating for everyone to watch youtube instead of Hollywood movies - there's the occasional flash of brilliance, but by and large the professional writers and performers do a better job.
