[svlug] New to Kernel programming and device drivers

I recommend the linux device drivers class at UC santa cruz extension. Buy the textbook instead of relying on the instructors examples.  Also check out kernelnewbies.org. There is a list of books on there, some of which are online freely or available as ebooks through your library.
