Hello,

Can anyone confirm the performance difference between NAS and SAN?
How much performance gain do I get to go a SAN from a NAS configuration?

Can I do a SAN storage server with a traditional linux computer? or can 
linux machines only be 'clients' ?
What is the cheapest and minimalist setup for SAN on linux?
Do I need a FC switch or can I have a linux storage server with several 
FC interfaces?
Is there Any supplier/manufacturer you recommend?
