[svlug] Ubunto as MythTV

hello all,
i got the spec below, and installed Ubuntu 8.10 on it, with the intent of it
being also the media center for the house:

box: Antec Fusion V2
mother: Asus P5N7A-VM
center: Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9550
tv: Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1800

the Antec box is a media center box, so it has an LCD front panel. for some
reason, i cannot get it to work, and i'm finding conflicting procedures,
most of which are before Intrepid or for the V1 Antec.

also, i have a Logitec Harmony 676 that i want to use for Myth. is this done
in a straightforward way, or the Linux way? :)

in short, has anyone done any of these two?
