Well, Mozilla's been working on calendaring for years as both something 
integrated into Thunderbird (Lightning) and as a stand-alone (Sunbird). 
  They've been notoriously not-ready-for-prime-time for years now, but 
I've taken my eye off of them in recent years, so perhaps that's changed.
