Perhaps someone else will be in a position to answer your question, as I
am not.  (Also, to the extent I know the answer to such questions, in
general I'd rather devote the same amount of my time and effort
answering questions about Linux and similar.)

I'm unclear on why only those two VCSes merited evaluation(?), and in
particular, on what basis it was that you ruled out Hg and bzr
(Mercurial and Bazaar).
