Wow, if only he could have consulted with you before he did 
anything, he would have made the proper choice.

Your message, and the direction of the thread on this list show 
that most people really miss the point that Linus was trying to 
make in regards to distributed vs. centralized repositories.

Yes, he is certain to make his point, but the real point is that 
we live and develop in a distributed environment on the web, and 
using a centralized repository is a poor solution at best.

This is actually a good point, and one that really needs to be 
driven home.

Claiming people are idiots is only his way of making his point 
about distributed systems. Your response above shows that he 
might have a point.;-)
