WAN -- wide area network (eg. Internet)
LAN -- local area network

If 192.168.0.1 goes nowhere,
try 192.168.254.254 (I've got a SpeedStream 2614 router that servers
its admin webpage to its LAN at that IP).

I suggest calling Comcast. They are your service provider. Their
customer service number is on your bill. The solution can be very
straightforward.
