We used IPCop, and tried the OpenVPN plugin (starts with a "Z"...) and had trouble, plus it requires a client on the Windows boxes AFAIK. Yuk!
Then we tried mon0wall which is nice, and finally settled on http://www.pfsense.com/
VPN sorta works and we don't know if it's our configuration or what. I can get to \\192/168.x.x but I can't get to \\foo . In an ironic twist, the main guy who needed VPN access ended up quitting after we did all this, so we've just stopped caring about VPN for the moment. *shrug*
