[svlug] In search of two Ubuntu / Gnome applets: wireless mouse battery and contractor money clock

Anyone know of an applet that will monitor my Microsoft Wireless
Intellimouse battery and let me know when it is running low? I see one
for logitech, but nothing for any other mouse.

And also, I just started a new contract gig for 6 months and thought it
would be fun to have a Gnome applet that calculates how much I'm making
per minute, hour, day, week, month, total, etc... so I'd put in my
hourly rate and 'clock in/out'. Maybe every $1000 or so it plays a
"ka-ching!" sound or something. But I'll take what I can get. :)

I can't find anything like this.
