[svlug] using a Coby MP3 player under Linux

Hi,

As you know, we are giving out Ubuntu Linux boxes to students at a public
middle school in San Francisco.  One of the students who attends that school
has received for free a Coby MP-705 MP3 player.  I have not been able to get
Ubuntu to read see the USB player.  Has anyone succeeded in using a Coby MP3
player under Linux?  Googling produces sparse and unhelpful results.
