[svlug] Why do you guys Linux so much ?

 I  think people just need to use whatever solves the problem at hand best.
I also think that OS is only as good as the driver and utilities that are
built for it. I do have about 10 linux machines and 10 windows machines that
i work with, at work and about 2 linux and 2 windows machines at home. I use
all so i get the best of both worlds. bottom line - why choose, if you dont
have to? most machines these days can run multiple OSs at the same time
using virtualization anyway. The OS is becoming just another app on your
computer. The real OS is the Hypervisor...

I did not get the impression that Tri was trolling.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I
usually ignore trolls.  But I got the impression that Tri was genuinely
airing some problems that he had with Linux.  IMHO, we might be able to help
him with those problems.  Maybe I am being naive, though.  But I am usually
good at spotting trolls.  And I also have a firm policy of never getting
them wet.  Heh.
