[svlug] very basic problem, name look up does not work

Hi You'll,

Happy Holidays.

I have a server that is on a Linux DHCP translator and it cannot do name lookup. I need to give the IP to ping someone or telnet

I don't have a monitor but firefox was working when it was on a different DHCP server. My XP laptop works fine on this DHCP server.

I'm sure it is a simple one. I am using centos. Any  ideas?
