Mine, too. When I used the System Settings -> Desktop menu (possibly that's
Kubuntu-specific), it changed to "Left=Custom1". My guess is the defaults for
the menu contents are under /etc somewhere. It will take a more research. I
kind of doubt this is in the help files. But asking on a more specific forum
for Kubuntu or KDE might yield results. I've gone as far as my curiosity is
taking me for now.
