[svlug] Governance Meeting Reminder

Hello,
Just a reminder that this Thursday we will have a governance meeting and 
discussion. The agenda was previously published and is available from the 
archives. The meeting starts at 7pm and will end by 9pm.

If you want to attend please let me know and I'll send you the address and 
location of the meeting (near 101 and Great America). We need to keep tabs on 
how many people will attend so we don't overfill the room.

Andrew Fife, from SFLUG and Untangle, will help as co-facilitator for the 
meeting.

We don't plan to have snacks or food so please plan accordingly.

Since we may be working our way toward by-laws, you might want to read what 
Bill Kendrick mentioned a few days ago...quoting Bill...

"FWIW, LUGOD has a set of Bylaws and a Constitution, by which we run the

Might be a useful reference for SVLUG or other LUGs that wish to run 
themselves
in an open, defined way."

These by-laws may, or may not, be of use to us in our efforts and can be 
discussed in the meeting(s).
