It's technically feasible (I've done it before) to pull the video down
with (among other things) youtube-dl, and convert it to dvd format &
burn with 'tovid', for instance. I've done it with other CC licenced
things, like Star Trek New Voyages. As long as I'm not doing it for
profit - but for personal use, lack of licensing implies questions,
whether or not it's legal to do.
Another related example were the "Go Open" series of videos that were
done in South Africa a few years ago. I went ahead and converted them
to 2 dvd's about the time they came out, purely for my own use.

CC implies I can't do that (it's a "no derivatives" license).
