Yes, apparently that's the situation, and THAT is what the
concern is about.  As it was said earlier on the list, the
concern is that *we* need Google's permission to be able to use
a videotape of a SVLUG meeting, but they don't need OUR
permission to do the same.

(as said before, it's NOT that I think google would do something
underhanded, but any work that WE produce should be "public
domain," "creative commons" or something similar --- just as a
matter of principle as much as anything else.
