Speaking for myself -- to repeat yet again what I've already been
incredibly clear about -- I got tired of helping the Reiber administration
and then seeing my work thoughtlessly sabotaged. However, to answer your
question more fully, my understanding is that ex-VP Mark Weisler is
setting up a venue and making other arrangements. It turns out, we at
SVLUG have no need of Google, Inc.'s hosted proprietary software services.

I would suggest that we _also_ have no need of all the extremely more ambitious
Google hosting of SVLUG's Web presence that you've discussed with Paul
Reiber and caused him to speak so rapturously of the effects on him of
"drinking the Google Kool-Aid" -- the things that he was so _extremely_
anxious to make sure the membership were unaware of that he summarily
fired and silenced one of our key volunteers who had merely touched the
borders of that discussion.

I think, in that suggestion, you're deliberately ignoring my key point.

> I was asking the question in their specific case.

And I answered it. I note without comment your attempt to spin my
answer as some sort of deliberate affront to the carless.
