forming a group is trivially easy ... pick the wrong day and folks
disappear :-)

how to split $$$ is not trivial ...
how to split "stocks" is not trivial...

having periodic ( required ) meetings is a good sign of "seriousness"
as is putting up time/resources/$$$/expertise/spare parts/other-stuff
the group feel is important for the survivability of the group or
the last stubborn dinosaur

splitting and discussing vapor-$$$ and vapor-stocks is also worthless
waste of time too ... but in the process, one understands each other's
seriousness and reasonableness and expectations of "forming a group"

"everything" is a process and people and talents and sales and blah-blah
	- sales is required if $$$ is the expectation
	- new projects is required for new toys for fun and challenge

	- why is "the group" needed for you or me ... etc..

	- many is folks already do the "group thing" depending on how you
	count

--------

i drag in people as needed to get tasks done if there is enuff
"i want" from paying or potential customers or my own dumb and lazy needs

- 2nd to latest "i want" was to run VLC w/ x264 on dual-core
  athlon64 with fedora core4 or core5

  2 weeks later ... it's now sorta working ( it compiles/links )
with fedora-core5 !!! yippie ... next trick to add the vlc-gui

--------

i have enough tasks to keep a few full timers ( experts ) occupied for the
next few years from identified customers but it is a chicken and egg
problem as is always the case with "new toys/projects" before one
can get major $$$ for the sale of the new (various) widgets
