Well, I know for a fact that it is hugely more expensive. I was paying
$40-odd / month like a sucker until my wife woke up and gave them a call
and essentially asked them to cut us some slack and move us into the
$25 / month pricing bucket they reserve for first-time customers.
They agreed to do that for 3 months.

However, when looking at AT&T or DSLextreme, I noticed that their
cheapest offer is $13 / month although it does seem slow. But their next
offer, $18 / month, is about as fast as my current Comcast connection,
or faster, depending on where you fall within the speed range.
DSLextreme gives 5 IP addresses with that, I don't know about AT&T.
Comcast only gives one address.

Looks like a no-brainer to me.
