Open Country is seeking volunteers to participate in a Technical Advisory Council. Volunteers
should be actively managing 20 or more Linux systems (the more the better).

The meeting is from 3:00-5:00PM and will occur mid/late April at Open Country

Our purpose is to first understand what are the major issues and problems for sysadmins and
maintainers of Linux systems in general. Following that, we will have a brief look at the GA of
our latest version of OCM (Open Country’s Universal Systems Management Suite(SM) for Linux). It
is a web based interface so if you bring a laptop, you can drive it yourself. We want to then
see if OCM, in your opinion, deals with the major issues and problems.

I will be sending a URL for a very brief survey to each Council member. It should take under 10
minutes to fill out and will be used to provide background for our discussions.

OC will be doing product releases every 2 to 3 months over the coming year so your input will
greatly influence our direction and development. We will also be sharing with you the results
of the Council meetings and of surveys we are doing in this area.

If interested, please reply to me off list.
