I don't remember any limitation like that...  I wouldn't be terribly
surprised though.  However, thinking about memory discovery... 
whatever, I'm now starting a tangent so I'll kill it before it's born.

I don't think there was any kind of upstream/downstream limitations
over a AGP bus.
