[svlug] [svlug-announce] SVLUG Vice-President nomination

Hey all:

It is with great pleasure that I announce Micah Dowty's acceptance of my
nomination to fill SVLUG's vice-presidency for the rest of this term.

Many of you may remember Micah from last December's SVLUG presentation on
CIA (http://cia.navi.cx). In addition to CIA, he's worked on a number of
open source projects, including PicoGIU, Fyre, and Pyhole.

In the past few months, he's been an active member of SVLUG, joining at
most (if not all) of SVLUG's Hacking Society and general meetings, so he's
definitely an active open source community as well as SVLUG member.

In the interests of ensuring member input, we'll have a quick voice vote at
the next meeting to confirm Micah into the VP position.
