Upon closer examination: Your initial posts all had From: header
address set to "beartooth at adelphia.net". Your most-recent post's From:
header differed only in lettercase, being "Beartooth at adelphia.net".
Believe it or not, Mailman's considering these two forms to be distinct
addresses is _not_ a programming error: There are many mail systems
where the lettercase of usernames is significant. (The same is not true
of Internet hostnames. Thus, strings to the right of the "@" symbol
_are_, correctly, treated by Mailman as case-insensitive.)
Anyhow, that explains what happened -- in case you were wondering what I
was talking about, concerning "a posting address not subscribed to this
list". You should beware of uppercasing normally-lowercase usernames, I
think, as the unexpected may sometimes happen in various places, not
just e-mail.
