Er, just to clarify:  John sent it first to webmaster at svlug.org, thus
reaching volunteers at lists.svlug.org.  I opined that members'd appreciate
seeing his offer here.  I added that he probably isn't _on_ here, and that
non-member postings get held, but I'd approve it.
 
This list is unmoderated, with (to my knowledge) only antispam controls,
e.g., non-subscriber posts being held.

(I wouldn't want ability to grant "permission", and don't have it.
All I do is say yes or no on certain posts held for review.)
