  I know, I'm a lurker, & haven't posted before, but the other
responses didn't mention this, so I thought I'd go ahead:

I've an 8-port Belkin. Sure, I love it, but the mouse issue
was driving me nuts. I found either in the manual or on Belkin's
site that they only test their kvm's with M$ mouses (may only be
the standard wheel mouse). I used Logitech muses in both Windows
& Linux, so I lose the mouse too. Belkin's response to the
issue? Either use a M$ mouse, or use two other manufacturer
mouses.

Haven't tested other drivers -- the Logitech drivers work, so I
don't mess with them. But you could always try other drivers in
Linux, as the mouse will always still be there in Windows (at
least in my case), to see if you can find one which works in
both. I'd love to know if you find one:-).

  FWIW,
  Meph
