Heh, but Perl _is_ a shell!  For the crazy people out there, at least. ;^)

Last time I had any kind of a _real_ interview, it was at Atari Games
back in 1998.  (I turned them down, in favor of living with my now-wife
Melissa, in Davis, for those who know me and are confused by the previous
statement. ;^) )

At one point I was asked to do some relatively basic bitwise math,
and my interviewers and I were working on the solution on a whiteboard.
All THREE of us were totally off by a factor of 2, or something like that.
I was kinda nervous.  No idea what their excuse was. ;^)
