Oddly, Chris only subscribed to this mailing list immediately following
Paul's initial disclosures. It's almost as if he had been sent. Of course,
he says he's merely voicing his own considered personal views, so I
believe him.

On top of that coincidence, I found it odd that he rather masterfully,
immediately dismissed Paul's main point, about threats to overturn our
elected leadership, out of hand -- as some sort of trivial hearsay that
should not be dwelled on. And later, after Ian _confirmed_ what Paul
said, Chris continues to downplay it and try in a rather prosecutorial
tone to call Paul's account into question.

I do find that decidedly odd, especially coming from a "friend".

Gerald Ford and "Squeaky" Fromme had an interpersonal squabble, too, I hear.

The point, of course, is that the "individual" in the present case was
threatened with removal from his office _as our elected representative_.
On two separate occasions. In writing.

That's not just a heat-of-the-moment interpersonal squabble. It
concerns _us_: Paul's the guy _we_ picked to represent us, and threats
to remove him from office -- twice -- are very much not OK.
