Neat, how do you like yakuake?  (For those unfamiliar, it's a kind of
KDE terminal console that acts like the command console in games like
Quake...  just a transparent, area where you can type commands that drops
down from the top of the screen.)

A year or so ago, I did a similar trick with KDE's global shortcuts and
advanced window options to allow ALT+` to pop my IRC client up and down
at the bottom of the screen.  It looks kinda like it's sticking out of my
Kicker panel.)
